Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG)

Medical students interested in the specialty of family medicine are cordially invited to attend meetings held on campus at UAMS periodically to learn more about family medicine. Lunch is available and speakers are Family Practice Physicians in practice in different settings; Family Medicine Residents; Family Medicine Physicians in academia and other speakers of interest to the students. Workshops are also held periodically.

The Family Medicine Interest Group is sponsored by the residency programs and any medical student who is a member of the AAFP is automatically a member of the FMIG.
