Lunch is available and speakers are Family Practice Physicians in practice in different settings; Family Medicine Residents; Family Medicine Physicians in academia and other speakers of interest to the students. Workshops are also held periodically.
The Family Medicine Interest Group is sponsored by the residency programs and any medical student who is a member of the AAFP is automatically a member of the FMIG.
